Voices Unheard is a platform dedicated to providing a safe space for individuals to share their personal stories, including but not limited to: lived experiences, trauma, violence, drug issues, and mental health challenges. Our publication aims to empower people to speak out with no judgment. We believe that everyone's story deserves to be heard and respected, and our platform is designed to amplify these voices.

Angelina Cheng
Founder | Editor-in-Chief | Logistics Coordinator
I've experienced what it's like to feel unheard and alone, but I've found that creative writing was the best way to express myself and find my voice. I wanted to create a publication not only as a form of healing, but also to build a community of other writers and artists who want to feel heard, too. Myles Jones
Research Liaison | Events Coordinator
I go by Myles & Grim. I’ve run/planned events & newspapers focused on creative freedom, art, & research. Plus, I take up art in photography and graphic design too. I’ll be bringing Voices Unheard into any room I can get my foot in. So that means you’ll see me at any event going forward! Social Media Manager (Instagram) | Logistics Assistant
My name is Cosmo, and I’m a digital researcher and content creator. As a product of a generation raised by the internet, I’m passionate about online culture and communities, as well as digital multimedia art. I’ve created several digital art pieces of my own, often related to mental health, using tools such as JavaScript and Adobe editors. I’m helping out on the design and digital ends of this project, but I've also submitted a few pieces to the publication, so look out for those!
