Princess Danielly

Once upon a time, in the jungles of Brazil, lived

King Donato and Queen Carmen.

They were a good King and Queen, and were happy

in the wonderful world that the Jungle provided.

Toucans and Fruit trees were only a few of the

treasures this kingdom provided.

Their most valuable treasure, though,

was their family.

Eight princes and two princesses.

The youngest of the two, known as “Lil Pony”,

was small and more delicate than the others.

And often would spend her days asking why.

There also was the kiss of portwine that covered a

variety of areas of her delicate frame that she would

question as well.

She wondered why aren’t any of my siblings small and

colored the way I am?

She wondered if, in a kingdom other than hers,

there were another, or maybe others who more resembled

her.

As she grew older and ventured outside the kingdom,

she was met with glances and, at times, long stares.

But she did not let that define or determine her

happiness.

Under that delicate exterior was the heart of a

lioness, the passion of a playful puppy, and the

persistence of an elephant. Yes, an elephant!!

All 3 would serve her well as she grew into the

unique princess she was destined to be.

And was there a prince who was seeking and longed

for such a unique and exquisite princess such as she...

only time would tell.
